Welcome to the Garcia Clarinet Studio, located in Beaumont, Texas! In this studio, students find a nourishing environment that will also challenge them to set and meet personalized goals. I originally decided to be a teacher when I realized the powerful medium music is in affecting lives. Whether a student wants to be a concert musician, a PhD in Biochemistry or a doctor, learning music allows them to learn imperative life skills such as working hard, cooperating with others to reach common goals and sticking with something even when it's difficult or not extremely exciting (i.e. scales). Further, music can be used as a tool throughout life for coping with stress, trauma or anything that may come a student's way. I believe that by teaching people to play music well, I also teach them these useful life and coping skills. I try to always remember that I am teaching individuals, therefore lessons and lesson curriculum are catered especially for each individual student. It is very important to me that I am sensitive to each individual personality, and life situation. Because of this, lessons within the studio are a singularly positive experience.
